Improvement of drought and excess water monitoring for supporting water management and mitigation of risks related to extreme weather conditions – WATERatRISK (HUSRB/1602/11/0057), a project implemented within the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Programme, will be officially launched with a conference on 17 January 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Conference Hall of the Vojvodina Chamber of Commerce, Novi Sad, Serbia.
The event will be hosted by the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad and open to public.
In an effort to mitigate the damaging consequences of extreme weather conditions, the project brings together leading experts, researchers and engineers from Hungary and Serbia under the leadership of the University of Szeged, in cooperation with the Faculty of Sciences and the Faculty of Agriculture from the University of Novi Sad, the Lower-Tisza-District Water Directorate and the Public Water Management Company of Vojvodina.
