Announcement date: 12 September 2017
The Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Programme will celebrate the European Cooperation Day with an outdoor photo exhibition, which will be open between 21 September and 1 October 2017 in Kölcsey Street, a well-known promenade downtown Szeged, Hungary.
The photos which will be displayed in the Photo Exhibition were selected within Photo Contest Beautiful sights of the Hungary-Serbia border region, which lasted between 8 August and 10 September 2017.
Out of 39 photos which qualified for the contest, the Jury of the Photo Contest selected the First-place and the Second-place photos on 1 September 2017. The remaining 37 photos were posted on the Facebook page of the Programme and they were open for the public voting for the Third-place photo in the period 1-10 September 2017. Moreover, the Jury selected additional nine photos which will also be featured in the outdoor Photo Exhibition.
Additionally, the authors of the winning photos will each receive a package with Programme-branded gifts, as well.
The photos which will comprise the photo exhibition are available in the Photo Album in the Photo Gallery section of the website, as well as in the Photo Album on the Facebook Page.
The European Cooperation Day is an annual celebration taking place on 21 September and surrounding weeks. Different regions in Europe, including the neighbouring countries of the European Union, celebrate the achievements of territorial cooperation on that occasion. This year’s European Cooperation Day celebration will extend beyond the month of September, as the 12 photos from this Photo Exhibition will be published in the Programme’s 2018 print calendar.
