Second Call for Proposals within the Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Hungary-Serbia closed on 31 January 2017, at 24:00 CET for Applications submitted via IMIS 2014-2020 Application Module.
Second Call for Proposals generated vast interest, reflected in 259 submitted applications, and over four times higher amount of requested funds than the allocated amount for the Second Call for Proposals.
Out of all submitted applications, 21 of them addressed the Priority Axis 1: Improving cross-border water management and risk prevention systems; 8 applications – the Priority Axis 2: Reducing traffic bottlenecks in the cross-border transport network, 141 – Priority Axis 3: Encouraging cooperation in tourism and cultural heritage preservation, and 89 – Priority Axis 4: Enhancing SMEs’ economic competitiveness through innovation-driven development.

Following the closure of the Call, Potential Beneficiaries are required to submit the Certification generated by IMIS 2014-2020 by 7 February 2017 – by midnight if delivered via registered mail or courier service, or by 16:00 CET if delivered in-person.
Joint Secretariat will notify Potential Lead Beneficiaries about the results of the formal assessment approximately in March 2017* and about the result of the assessment and request for documents necessary for contracting around June 2017*. In the period between July and September 2017*, Lead Beneficiaries of the selected projects would sign the Subsidy Contract for Community Funding.
