“Monitoring, forecasting and development of online public early warning system for extreme precipitations and pluvial floods in urban areas in the Hungarian-Serbian cross-border region”, a project implemented within the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Programme, also known as URBAN-PREX (ID: HUSRB/1602/11/0097), will organize a Workshop about urban water management on 18 June 2018, starting at 10:00 AM at the Municipality of Szeged, Hungary.
The event will include lectures about urban water management problems and possible solutions, discussion about green infrastructure, as well as an open debate among citizens, local stakeholders and scientists, in the presence of the local and the regional media.
The Workshop is organized by the project Beneficiary – Municipality of Szeged (Szeged Megyei Jogú Város Önkormányzata).
The event invitees will include media representatives, scientists working in the field related to the project, representatives of the Municipality of Szeged, students and the general public.
The project aims to develop and implement an innovative monitoring, forecasting and public online system for early warning of extreme precipitation and pluvial floods in urban areas of the Hungary-Serbia border region.
