The Managing Authority (MA), the National Authority (NA), the Joint Secretariat (JS) and the First Level Control (FLC) of the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia programme have recently received a number of queries related to cancelled events, travels, undelivered equipment, etc. because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In many cases, the questions are linked to the eligibility of related expenditures. In this regard, the MA/JS provide a guidance to all Lead Beneficiaries, Beneficiaries and control bodies of the programme.

The cross-border cooperation project “Development of a Road Border Crossing at Kübekháza (HU) - Rabe (SRB) area”, also known as Kübekháza-Rabe, the same-named border crossing between the settlements Kübekháza in Hungary and Rabe in Serbia was opened on 11 October 2019.

The Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Programme celebrated this year’s European Cooperation Day with 15 events, which nine projects being implemented within the Programme, organized throughout September and in early October.

In 2018, the European Year of Cultural Heritage, the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia, which represents the Serbian National Authority of the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Programme, launched an online platform www.srbija-projektieu.rs, dedicated to several important national cultural monuments in Serbia.

The REGIOSTARS Awards is a yearly competition organised by the European Commission's Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy with the objective of identifying good practices in regional development and highlighting original and innovative projects which could be attractive and inspiring to other regions and project managers. The best photos will be awarded and featured in an outdoor exhibition downtown Szeged in September, and in the Programme’s print 2018 Calendar.

Strategic Call for Proposals of the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Programme resulted in five projects selected for funding which are currently undergoing the contracting process.

198 applications submitted within the Priority Axis 3 (PA 3) and the Priority Axis 4 (PA 4) of the Second Call for Proposals are currently undergoing the quality assessment process.

Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) of the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Programme held a meeting on 18 May 2017 in Subotica, Serbia, and selected projects for funding in the Priority Axis 1 and 2 submitted within the Second Call for Proposals.

Following the completion of the Applications of the Priority Axis 3 (PA 3) and Priority Axis 4 (PA 4), the Lead Beneficiaries of those projects will be notified about the result of the completion via the IMIS 2014-2020 system-generated emails, between 25 May and 26 May 2017.

On 24 April 2017, the Lead Beneficiaries of Applications of the Priority Axis 3 and Priority Axis 4 that require completion were notified via the IMIS 2014-2020 system-generated emails to complete their Applications by 05 May 2017, 24:00/midnight (CET).

In the period allocated for completion of the Applications within the Priority Axis 3 (PA 3) and Priority Axis 4 (PA 4), ending on 5 May 2017 at 24:00/midnight (CET), two technical errors were detected.

On behalf of Quality Assessors, the Joint Secretariat (JS) emailed Request for Clarification to the persons listed as contacts within the Applications of the PA 1 and PA 2 within the Second Call for Proposals which require clarification. Lead Beneficiary organization is required to provide clarification via e-mail to the allocated Programme Manager at the JS by Monday, 24 April 2017, no later than 12:00 (noon).

Joint Secretariat and the Joint Secretariat Antenna completed the formal assessment of the Priority 1 (PA 1) and Priority 2 (PA 2) applications submitted within the Second Call for Proposals.

On 6 March 2017, the Lead Beneficiaries of Applications within the Priority Axis 1 and Priority Axis 2 that require completion were notified via the IMIS 2014-2020 system-generated emails to complete their applications by 16 March 2017, 24:00 (CET).   

Strategic Call for Proposals of the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Programme gathered six project proposals. Following the formal and quality assessment of the received project proposals, the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) of the Programme selected five projects for financing on 31 January 2017.

European Commission (EC) has launched a campaign RegioStars 2017 to award EU-funded projects that are innovative and inspiring to other regions. 

Following the application submission, the Certification generated by IMIS 2014-2020 must be signed and stamped by the legal representatives of all potential Beneficiaries and it must be submitted to the Joint Secretariat of the Programme in a sealed envelope.

Joint Secretariat of the Programme has experienced a technical problem concerning the online application system IMIS 2014-2020.

On 2 December 2016 the Joint Secretariat of the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Programme announced vacancies for two full-time Programme Manager positions with permanent contract – a native Hungarian speaker and a native Serbian speaker. The deadline for applications is 31 December 2016, 24:00 (midnight) CET.

Following the recent technical issues related to Budget within the IMIS online application system, the Joint Secretariat of the Programme resolved the issues on Wednesday, 21 December. 

Joint Secretariat of the Programme experienced technical problems in the availability of the IMIS online application system in the period December 17-18. These difficulties were dealt with and as of Monday, December 19, around 11 AM, the system is back online.

Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Programme has extended the deadline for submission of the project proposals within the Strategic Call to September 30, 2016. Second Call for Proposals is scheduled to be launched on October 3rd, 2016. In the competition for the Best Interreg Website, organized by the European Commission (DG Regio), the website of Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia was selected by the competition jury among the top 10 Interreg websites.

Interreg–IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Hungary–Serbia has launched the Strategic Call for Proposals HUSRB/1601, with the total amount of funding of 24,800,000 EUR intended for the projects of strategic value for the Hungary-Serbia border region.    The Call will be open until August 26, 2016 for submission of proposals for strategic projects.
