In the competition for the Best Interreg Website, organized by the European Commission (DG Regio), the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia website was selected by the competition jury among the top 10 Interreg websites, due to “its characteristics of interaction with the final user and for providing an easy access and positive entry point to EU cooperation”.
The competition included all Interreg 2014-2020 websites (over 80 websites), and reviewed them in terms of originality, user-friendliness, transparency and focus on results.
The 10 nominees were (no specific order):

- Interreg Danube
- Interreg Hungary -Croatia
- Interreg Slovakia-Hungary
- Interreg Central Europe
- Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia
- Interreg 2 Seas
- Interreg Italy- Austria
- Interreg Germany-Denmark
- Interreg North-West Europe
The winners, which were announced at the Interreg Annual Event, held on June 6, 2016 in Bruges, Belgium, are:
1st place - Interreg Germany-Denmark
2nd place - Interreg Central Europe
3rd place - Interreg Slovakia-Hungary.
