Lack of easily assessable information about the tourist offer in the Hungary-Serbia border region available in Hungarian and Serbian language, has been one of the most prominent obstacles in the development of tourism in the border region. The project Colourful Cooperation (HUSRB/1601/31/0005) tackled this problem by launching the website www.visithusrb.com which provides fresh news related to tourist offer, cultural life and current affairs in the Hungary-Serbia border region.
Since its launch in April 2018, the website has been providing the tourism- and culture-related news in the border region, including those concerning small towns and villages, in both in Hungarian and Serbian language.
The website with its news section is a part of the project’s comprehensive cultural strategy for the entire Hungarian-Serbian border region. Within this strategy, the project also plans to open a Hungarian cultural center in Palić, Serbia, and a Serbian center in Mórahalom, Hungary, both of which will host cultural events on regular basis.
Besides the project’s website, more information about the project is available on the web page Projects of this website.
