Strategic Call for Proposals of the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Programme gathered six project proposals. Following the formal and quality assessment of the received project proposals, the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) of the Programme selected five projects for financing on 31 January 2017.
Selected projects, including their title, summary, as well as the amount of allocated funding will be announced on the website of the Programme, in the section Projects, right after the contracting process is completed.
Strategic Call for Proposals was the first out of three planned calls for proposals within the Programme, with the total budget of 24,800,000 EUR. It was open between 29 March 2016 and 30 September 2016 for strategic projects, which are in line with the relevant national and regional strategies and which have the capacity to make a high impact and improve the quality of life in the Programme area.
The projects were required to address one of the three priorities of the Programme open in the Strategic Call for Proposals:
- PA 1: Improving cross-border water management and risk prevention systems;
- PA 2: Reducing traffic bottlenecks in the cross-border transport network; or
- PA 3: Encouraging cooperation in tourism and cultural heritage preservation.
